About the Director
Mano is the founder and director of More Than Hoops Inc., the Power To Choose Assembly Program, the Watsa Basketball Camps, the Point Guard Academy and the Post Player Academy.
Mano was raised in Harrow, Ontario and attended the University of Waterloo, where he was a 2-time All-Canadian basketball player for the Warriors.
After a short tour with the USA Athletes In Action pro basketball team, Mano and his wife, Kate, settled down in the Kitchener area in order to pursue his primary passion, challenging & motivating youth.
As a devout Christian, Mano strives to give God first priority in every aspect of his life. Along with directing More Than Hoops and its various programs, Mano is also the president of Point Guard College (www.pointguardcollege.com). Mano is married to his long-time sweetheart Kate and they are proud parents of two energetic boys, Isaac (7) & Zachary (5), and a little baby girl, Anna (4).
